A little about me...

 I was once told that I have a sparkle in my eyes, as though I were hiding a secret.

~~I was born in the heart of Oklahoma and raised in the sleepy little town of Guthrie. I'm the oldest daughter of two creative parents who always encouraged me in my artistic dreams. I began drawing and creating at an early age. Art was my window to the world.
~~In highschool I became known as the "artist girl" and was often asked to design posters or flyers. I entered many contests and often won. After highschool came college, an Associates degree in Visual Arts, and a wedding to my childhood friend turned sweetheart. Ten years later and we're still best friends.
~~In 2001 life changed in the most amazing way. Our first daughter was born. I became a Mother. Three years and three months later another little miracle came our way when our second daughter was born. I can honestly say that motherhood changed the way I saw the world and my art.
~~Daily my daughters live life with wide-eyed wonder and an open heart. Through them I found a new purpose with my art; a calling. It is my hope to touch the hearts and emotions of my viewers. I want to remind us all, myself included, of the joys of everyday life.
~~I'm a quiet girl, often shy. I've always been a bit of a dreamer. My strong faith in God guides my life and everything I do. I've learned to never take a single day for granted. Every day I feel so blessed to be able to touch others by simply doing what I love to do; paint.
